Cafe Britannia not closing down as yet

Further to Aadil%26#39;s info on this subject, I am glad to report that this place is not closing down as yet.

I am sorry for the owners for whom the property deal did not go through, but am happy for my family!

The place was heaving at lunchtime yesterday, being Navroze (Parsi New Year).

We had a small meal for three for Rs. 800.

1 raspberry drink, 1 fresh lime soda, a bottle of mineral water, 6 rotis, a plate of salli boti, 1 chicken berry pulao and 2 caramel custards.

And no - we never suffer Delhi Belly whenever we eat there, despite the place looking so shabby! Foreigner regulars too seem to be happy to come back for more!

Yes, I know they keep saying that they will be closing down soon, no one knows when the end is near. But that certainly is great news, it seems they keep on doing this kind of publicity from time to time to get back lost customers!!!
