Ballooning in Jaipur

Hello,

Can anyone on this forum give me some advice about hot air ballooning around Jaipur. My wife and I will visit Rajasthan in 2 weeks time and would like to take a balloon flight as part of our anniversary celebrations

Many thanks

Ballooning in Jaipur

Hi, the balloon flights around Jaipur are a fantastic experience. I did that along with my family a few months ago and we still talk about the lovely time we had. The aerial view of the Amer Fort is amazing. I think u must go ahead and plan that.

Hi

Visit www.skywaltz.com

which takes care of balloning in jaipur and other parts of rajasthan

I know they operate flights in Jaipur %26amp; Samode but have they started at other places?

Yes...they operate in Ranthambore as well and Pushkar I guess during the camel fair period.

Yeah Ranthambore and the guy I was talking to from the comp said they fly near Delhi too but not often

I have just looked at their website. Can they really be serious about $300 per person per flight!!!!!!!! Surely not for a one hour flight?

Hi

Yes Surely They Charge you about Rs.12,000 or USD 200 for 01 Hr Flight which includes your pick up and drop from the Hotels also in Jaipur.

I would suggest you to go through some of the Tour Operators from www.ratorajasthan.com to enable to get a Good Deal on Balloning

In Kenya%26#39;s Masai Mara the ballooning cost is US$ 385 to US$ 425 per person and lasts 1 hour. They give you breakfast as well. We went there and decided not to spend the money.

I don%26#39;t see the Jaipur ballooning prices as anything extraordinarily high - I thought this is what these things cost.

- Deepa

I would imagine that that is with a champagne breakfast. They are rip-off prices.

In Luxor a one hour flight flying over histotic places like the Valley of the Kings etc costs about £30 for one hour. Slight difference.

Pete

yes we paid £30 per head in luxor what a huge difference
