Booking a guide and driver

I will be staying at the Hans Plaza at 15 Barakhamba Road in New Delhi for several days the end of this month.

Should I book a car, driver and guide thru the hotel or should I do this with the tourist bureau on Janpath in Delhi?

If I book thru the hotel should I do this before arriving in New Delhi?

If you decide to do it from your hotel and then you can do it any time.

Thre are very good city %26amp; outstation packages offered by www.megacabs.com in N Delhi.

Cars are mid size Sedans, have AC and GPS and the rrates are Rs. 15 per KMs (different rates for packages).

There are several taxi opeartors in Connaught Place and you may get a good deal from them also.

However, for Guides you%26#39;ll have to approach the Tourist Office at Janpath.

it is not so importent to book before coming to new delhi you can also book when you arrive well i was stay in delhi and i know this driver he is very good speaking english like brithish and he is also guide some place you should contect also him one time

he was amazing, an absolute gentleman 100% reliable, never late once and also very reasonable.

We used www.carrentaldelhi.com They were excellent. Bobby answered all our emails promptly and gave lots of useful information. Rajender, our driver picked us up from Delhi airport and was with us for 6 days, going on to Jaipur and Agra. He was polite and spoke very good English, a safe driver and the car was always clean. One point worth mentioning was that we didn%26#39;t pay anything up front.
