Taxi booking
Jammu to Katra takes around 2 hrs being a ghat section, there will be security checks in between. Iam not sure about the the Taxi costs may around Rs. 800-1200 range. One thing I observed at Jammu Station is that you dont find peopel bugging you for Taxis which normally happens at Tourist related places. From Katra to Helipad it takes around 10 minutes by Auto/Car. Always make sure you have 1-2 hrs grace period.
