A Dream Wedding

Got my son married in goa at the Taj Holiday Resort-Candolim on the 4th march. We had been planning this for over a year.We used local Wedding Planner Lester Melo. Fantastic job. The majority of us stayed at the Highland Beach Resort (50 of us) had 20 at Phoenix, and 20 at Taj.We had 4 fuctions -the first at Chalston Hotel (calangute) then at Highland and The wedding and Reception at Taj.Everything was well organised and it turned out a dream wedding come true-well beyond our expectations. We had guests from around the world and they were all very impressed with Goa--what a great place. We had a great local contact for Taxis--I had arranged for all of us to be transported to and from the functions -all 95 of us-everyday.The manager at Highland and the Catering Manager at Taj did a great job for us.We all went out to a few restaurants on the other nights. Suzie Lobo( Calangute) put out a table for 60 on the beach.Ritz Classic, Republic of Noodles, and the Beach Shack next to the Taj was great.Met Bollywood stars at the Taj too--Arjun Rampal and Karishma Kapoor--this was the highlight for the girls. One of my nephews playing cricket with Arjun got called a ';slumdog'; by a german tourist because the ball kept going near the pool. Arjun quickly put him in his place-- he said how dare you call us that in our own country.

What a great place --fond memories forever

A Dream Wedding
