We are planning to do a round-trip in Rajasthan in December. Our group is 4 adults and teens 12 and 15-years who are used to travel (we have done round-trip in Kerala 2 years ago). We are flying to Delhi and planning to use in round trip about 9-11 days and after that flying to Kerala for a while (or some other nice place in India beside see). We would like to see shortly Delhi,Taj Mahal, Jaipur at least. We are planning to take a big car from Delhi (I have recommendations about one driver). Is it impossible to have at least Udaipur, Jodhpur in our programme? What else you would suggest for us? It is possible for us for instance fly from Udaipur to our destination and let the driver drive alone back to Delhi. We would like to time enough to see places not just sitting in a car and enough time if there will be problems (stomach). I would be grateful for your help.

Itenary

Day 1 - Delhi

Day 2 - Drive to Agra ( 5 hrs ). See Taj at sunset.

Day 3 - AM see Fort, continue to Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Bharatpur. Visit National Park by Cycle Rickshaw. O/N.

Day 4 - Drive to Ranthambhore. Leave early for this 5 hr drive to reach Sawai Madhopur by Noon. Take afternoon drive into National Park. See wonderful animals and if you are lucky, a Tiger.

Day 5 - AM and PM drives into National Park.

Day 6 - Leave for Jaipur. 4 hrs by Tempo Traveller Van best suited for your party.

Day 7 - Jaipur.

Day 8 - Jaipur.

Day 9 - Drive to Udaipur. 7 hrs.

Day 10 - Udaipur.

Day 11 - Fly Udaipur - Bombay - Cochin.

OR

Day 1 - Delhi

Day 2 - Drive to Agra

Day 3 - Drive to Jaipur vis Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 4 %26amp; 5 Jaipur.

Day 6 - Drive to Jodhpur. 6 - 7 hrs.

Day 7 - Jodhpur.

Day 8 - Drive to Ranakpur. O/N at Ranakpur or Kumbhalgarh.

Day 9 - Drive to Udaipur. 3 hrs from both places.

Day 10 - Udaipur.

Day 11 - Fly to Cochin.

Let your Driver return empty to Delhi.

If you are planning around Xmas. Rajasthan will be full. Book now.

You should easily be able to cover Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur %26amp; Udaipur in 10-11 days. You can fly Udaipur to Cochin via Bombay

As you are travelling with youngsters, you may throw in a dash of adventure for them...like visiting a tiger reserve or may be luxury tents. Normally, youngsters have holidays during Christmas %26amp; that is exactly the time when North India is badly affected by fog. Your point of exit towards South India will depend on the dates %26amp; a forethought of ground conditions, as well.

your travel time is very tight but possible you can cover Delhi-Agra-jaipur-jodhpur-Udaipur.

i would say you should include a rural visit of Rajasthans countryside in to your Rajasthan India travel program, and the most intresting and special is Thar desert. you can include Osian(a small desert oasis, nice old temple and traditional rural villages around)overnight or day trip.

Osian is 40 miles north west of Jodhpur, gate way of Thar desert, you can ride camels too.

this rural exeprience can do good bitween your all these city sight and monumental visits.
