Wedding Planner in Udaipur

Hello Fellow Trip Advisor Members,

I am planning my wedding in Udaipur this October and was wondering if anyone could recommend a local wedding planner within Udaipur to serve as our contact person. I haved found a few planning groups (Regal Weddings, etc), however their prices seem much higher than we have been quoted when contacting venues and hotels directly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!

also tell me what kinda wedding u plan to do . I mean you want to invite how many guest etc in the wedding or it would be just a small affair

Any tour oprator based in Udaipur should be able to put the wedding together for you including the venue, caterers, florist, band etc. See the Rajasthan Association fo Tour Operators website mentioned above - www.ratorajasthan.org

I plan to have about 100 guests attend, mainly family memebers from Gujrat and Punjab, all Inidan locals.

To plan a wedding there are serval travel agents, tour company and event organiser are in Rajasthan; as other member have wrote.

There is one not very famous may helpfull, Dr. Ajit Singh (www.horserajasthan.com) he is personally a horse-man, his family is long back working with horses, his horses are used in many royal weddings and he arranged some large prossesions around Udaipur.

100 guests wedding in October Can easily be arranged with the choice of budget you are looking for.

Sometimes Small Local Operators do give a better deal than the big names

Tour operators may not be able to understand how logistics work in a wedding and also the sentiments involved with the ';event'; as such. I think that requires a specialist.

You may google company called Regal Weddings as they are located in Udaipur.

The poster found Regal Weddings too expensive and which is why this post got started. And I beg to differ that tour operators can not arrange weddings. May I remind everyone that it was the mock Rajasthani weddings tour operators started for their clients that got people hooked to the idea of doing real weddings in Rajasthan.
