I was in Delhi last year and i stayed at the grand intercontinental hotel...

Imperial is a good hotel now a days, but it is one of the oldest 5 star hotels of New Delhi.

I think the latest one is Sheraton, Saket.

The latest new Five Star would be the Aman Delhi opening in another month or so; where the old Lodhi hotel was, near Humayun%26#39;s tomb.

There are several new five stars in pipeline ready to open before 2010, the Commomwelath Games. For as of now the best best would be ';The Imperial';, Taj Mahal Hotel on Man Singh Road, both are fantastic palces to stay and great food.

Oh yes I read about the Aman in HT the other day - its apparently opening by month end. I love how they have played with the light in the interiors using the traditionla jaali (lattice) work. They seem to be offering pool and privtae garden suites as well, which if I am not mistaken is a first for delhi.

Those prices are a first for Delhi as well :)
