just back from a fifth visit, stayed at the Highland which was very good, the food everywhere was as good as ever, although like most people you speak to you never seem to feel really hungry, a fact that we put down to the heat, we enjoy breakfast,love lunchtime in a shack on the beach but by the time nightime comes around we both could either take it or leave it! the pound has dropped against the ruppee we were getting 71ish as opposed to 85 last year!
Taxis seem to have increased somewhat sometimes by as much as 50%!
Candolim keeps growing and you just wonder where it will stop? but the goans remain the same as friendly as ever as opposed to the native indians we had the misfortune to meet on our three days out of goa to the tal mahal and delhi, they were awfull people!
we will start looking for next year soon!!

We%26#39;re the same about eating at night, especially towards the end of our holiday. It must be the heat that drains your appetite, although we%26#39;ve never been like that anywhere else.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Must say the heat doesn%26#39;t seem to affect my appetite and I always really look forward to my dinner though not the fact that my clothes are usually tighter at the end of the second week lol.
