Must Do Excursions in Goa!

Hi

We are going for 2 weeks to Goa next April and were wondering which are the best excursions to go on. There is the Waterfall, the Tiger Sanctuary, are these any good?

Also, as we are there for 2 full weeks, does anyone know if there is an excursion from Goa to the Taj Mahal? Maybe overnight?

Thanks

waterfalls is a must go first thing in the mornin when the monkey,s are most hungry and they,ll come uoto you and feed off your hand.we went to the tai mahal from goa but booked everything ourselves much cheaper than travel agent.worked out around 150 pounds for a 4 nite break to delhi, agra and jaipur.to get there you need to fly from goa to delhi cheaper flights booked on spicejet then get train from delhi to agra.then tai mahal near by,if want any details of how to do this pm me ok

The tiger sanctuary is not good, tigers are enclosed with concrete pools and hand fed but the trip itself is good, there are oher treads on this trip if you do a search. Jungle Book overnight trip is a must in my opinion its overall excellent and much better than the plantation only day trip to wash elephants and also excellent is the two night trip to Mumbai, you can go by overnight sleeper train which is a fantastic experience in itself or you can fly, loads to see in Mumbai. Check out www.daytrippergoa.com for trips and prices but there are several places you can book when you get there. To visit the Taj you would need 2 nights, fly to Delhi, stay overnight, there is loads to see in Delhi and then on to the Taj and another night. My honest opinion on the Taj is a minimum 5 day trip if you are going that far north taking in Delhi, Taj, Fatepur Sikri and Jaipur.

Check out the jungle book trip here

Even DIY the golden triangle is a bit optomistic now at £150.

April - the waterfalls will be waiting for a ';top up'; from the following monsoon.

I agree about the waterfalls they are a bit disappointing late in the season, but to get on the road early and driving through the mist is worth doing just for that. My daughter loved the monkeys at the falls they are so tame feeding from your hand they gently uncurl your fingers one by one to get the peanut, she%26#39;s going to monkeyworld with the school next week I somehow think she%26#39;s going to be disappointed!
