has the departure tax come in yet ??

if so how much is it

they are getting a bit cheeky now arent they visa fees and now departure tax what next ??

I don%26#39;t believe it%26#39;s been reintroduced yet. Visa fees have always existed, and there used to be a departure tax of something like 300 rupees that disappeared a few years ago.

The departure tax hasn%26#39;t come into force yet but it no doubt will be in for the new season. The tax was mentioned in the local Goan press last month, and it is already in force in a number of airports in India including Mumbai, the charges in Mumbai are Rs300 for domestic departures and Rs1000 for international departures. So we%26#39;ll have to wait and see what charges are to be introduced at Goa, one thing is for sure, they will be, with all its problems it has at the moment it seems that India is trying its hardest to kill its tourist industry.
