just A background we a group of 8 (3 elders over the age of 65)plan for a trip to north east please advice,below is the trip I planned wiithout making it too hectic for my parents,any suggestion to improve the trip

09/04/2009 evening flight from bombay to calcutta .2200 hrs train from cal to njp.

10/04/09 by noon reaching darjelling.PLZ SUGGEST WHAT CAN BE DONE ON 10TH.NIGHT STAY AT DARJELLING

11/04/09 LEAVE BY 5AM BY SUV TO GHANGTOK ENROUTE SEE RUMTEK MONESTARY,NATHULA PASS,CHANGU LAKE,BABA MANDIR PROCEED TO PELLING OR LACHUNG ANY ADVICE HOW FAR FROM GANGTOK TO PELLING OR LACHUNG.NIGHT HALT AT PELLING OR LACHUNG.

12/04/09 DAY AT PELLING ANY ADVICE FOR THE DAY,START RETURN JOURNEY TO DARJELLING BY 2PM .NIGHT STAY AT DARJELLINg.

13/04/09 REST %26amp; TOY TRAIN-VISIT TO MAKAIBARI TEA ESTATE-.

14/04/09 morning tiger hill-ghoom monestary-mountaineering institute-zoo snow leopard breeding center

Calcutta - Darjeeling - Gangtok 09/04/09 TO 16/04/09

I fail to understand your itinerary.Up to reaching NJP is okay,after that everything needs rectification.You have 5 nights and you want to cover a lot of destinations,which is not possible.I would suggest 2N in Darjeeling and 3N in Gangtok or vice-versa.Forget all other places.Nathu La is open only 3 days a week,try to plan your trip to Gangtok accordingly.Baba Mandir,Tsango Lake are covered along with Nathu-La.

We ll b reaching darjeeling on 10th aftrn. cd u plz advise d itinerary fr 5 days ( 3days in darjeeling %26amp; 2 days in gangtok). Plz advise if visting pelling %26amp; makaibari tea estate wd b possible. Going to north east of India fr d first time.
