Extra night somewhere in Rajasthan

We are planning the normal Rajasthan tour, we have one night in Mandawa/Bikaner/Jodhpur and two nights in Jaisalmer/Udaipur/Jaipur. We would like to add one more night in one of these places, and would like to know which city would be worth spending an extra night in.

I would advice you to have one night in Ranakpur or Kumbalgarh. On your way from Jodhpur to Udaipur.

On your way from Jodhpur to Udaipur or vice Versa there is a Place Called ';Ranakpur'; mainly fampus for Jain Temples. Try putting Ranakpur in to your itinerary.

Since you%26#39;re on such a whirlwind tour, I%26#39;m guessing you%26#39;ll be packing unpacking and travelling all the time. Maybe you should just have a one day breather in one of the already existing cities in your itineraries, to just STOP and REST for a day?

If my husband and I were doing this, and we thought a break would be good, he would pick the city where the hotel has a relaxing soothing pool and I%26#39;d check to make sure the shopping is excellent :)

Give this extra night to jodhpur as this city is quite big. one night is sort for Jodhpur. The fort(Mehrangarh) is great, best to start 9am to visit it takes couple of hours there is intresting and informative audio guide come along with ticket price.

give late afternoon to sardar market and clock tower to wonder around spice,sweets and silver bazar.

evening dine at couple of long time good restaurant ON THE ROCKS(a little out of centre) and other near train station KALINGA.

Another day give to walking tour of Great old BLUE city(Brahampuri) this is truly blue, lost yourself in small narrow lanes. do not miss safron lassi(made of curd and safron) and afternoon/evening treat yourself to relax on one of the roof top cafe.

Thank you all for your suggestions, I should have been a little more specific Deepa. We start in Delhi for 2 nights, then Mandawa 1 night, Bikaner 1 night, Jaisalmer 2 nights, Jodhpur 1night, Ranakpur 1 night, Udaipur 2 nights, Jaipur 2 nights, Agra 1 night and back to Delhi for 1 last night. Total 14 nights, but we have one extra day left to spend soemwhere, and again, don%26#39;t know if we should spend an extra night in Jodhpur/Bikaner/Udaipur or Jaisalmer.

Of this lot, I%26#39;d pick Jodhpur. It is big enough for you to have enough to do and see; and it is conveniently in the middle of the journey, so you can get some relaxation.

Youre staying optimum number of nights at each place. Agree with City of Lakes. Ranakpur will be the best addition to this itinerary

You can stay at Pushkar for one night, between Udaipur and Jaipur, so now two nights at Udaipur, one night at Pushkar, two nights at Jaipur and rest of itinerary as it is.
