Best Reasonably priced Restaurants

What are the best restaurants in Jaipur? (excluding Rambagh palace etc which are a little too much for me)? I will be there for 2 nights next month and would like to have an idea of where I am going to eat out before I go. I was thinking of Niros for one night and not sure about the other night?

Also, how much would a meal for 2/3 course meal for 2 cost at Niros (excluding drinks as we dont drink much)?

If it helps, we are staying at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

Now that Niro has become hugely popular it has increased the prices manyfold...

Expect to pay around Rs. 1000 for two people for a dinner.

Other good restaurants are Dasprakash, Natraj %26amp; Copper Chimney.

IMO, Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB) restaurant is an overhyped and over priced place...avoid..

We had an excellent meal in Niro in December. We even had Kulfi ice cream!! I can%26#39;t remember how much it cost but it was well worth it. We were travelling for 3 months so we were on a budget but it was worth whatever extra it cost.

We went to Handi and were disappointed, it%26#39;s a non-veg restaurant but it wasn%26#39;t that good.

If you like Italian food and feel you need a change from Indian, I can also recommend Mediterrano which is by the Amber Tower. If you head towards Arya Niwas hotel there will be someone outside to take you to teh restaurant as it is up on the rooftop through a shopping centre!! Beautiful candle lit terrace.
