Pune to Agra

I will be staying in Pune and would like to take a tour to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. Is there a tour company that has a tour or is there a way I can arrange a tour for 3 people???

Pune to Agra

Can be done over a weekend. You need to book flights to Delhi from Pune. Agra is a four or five hour drive from Delhi.

You can see the Taj in two ways:

1) Stay overnight in Delhi, and do a day trip to Agra (leave Delhi 6:00 a.m).

2) Drive to Agra, stay overnight there, see the Taj by dawn, and come back to Delhi.

Delhi itself has a lot of sightseeing, so you should budget one day in Delhi.

Usually hotels will arrange a car and driver for you for sightseeing.

Is there a tour company that can arrange this?

Any travel agent in Pune should be able to arrange this. Check with the hotel you are staying.

I was also told it was a 3-4 car ride from Delhi to Agra. Not true. Because of traffic and even with a fast driver.. it took SIX hours from Delhi to Agra.
