Dentist DR A Sadikar Panaji

Does anyone have any advice on dentists. I have booked with Dr Sadikar in Panaji for extensive dental treatment well as much as I can afford. Has anyone any advice am staying in Candolim but have been told to stay away from the dentists in the tourist area, have been told they are ok for whitening but charge a lot for crowns and do not even have thier own x rays help please.

You have made an excellent choice with Dr Sadekar he is a first class dentist and very professional, i have had some crowns, white fillings four veneers on my front teeth and other things i cant speak to highly of Dr Sadekar,he is a very nice man as well, i don%26#39;t think you will get better dental treatment any-ware in Goa

Thanks for that I feel much more confident now. From the facts I have gathered it seems better to go into a big town or city. Where they don%26#39;t just make money from tourists.

Hi , i am hoping to have veneers whilst staying at candolim land 15th feb,,CANT WAIT,,im not very brave with dental matters, could anyone tell how invasive/painfull they are. Thanks Red

Veneers are not painful. Its not like a crown where they file your tooth right down, they just roughen the surface and glue it to your tooth.

Hi all as i said above i had four front teeth veneered its not just a case of roughing the surface of your tooth, its alot more than that veneers are made of ceramic imagine roughing your teeth up and sticking one of those on it, you would look abit like bugs bunny, what they do is precision ';grind file';all the enamel of the front of the teeth you are having veneers on so it is perfectly flat then the dentist takes an impression of the said teeth he makes some temporary veneers which you ware he sends the impressions of to the dental Hospital for them to make your veneers go back about 10 days later to have the put in, as i said above i had four done all at once i didn`t have any anesthetic and i felt no pain what so ever, although if you are nervous i am sure the dentist will give you some thing,if i remember correctly it takes about one hour from start to finnish for one tooth. but its well worth it

Hi its nearly three years since i had mine done i think they cost about £100 each but i think they have come down abit since then.
