Holiday Inn, Mobar Beach

Hi

Firstly, is this the same as the Holiday Inn Cavalossim?

We are thinking of going next March/April.

The reviews of this hotel are brilliant, we are going bed and breakfast so I%26#39;m just a bit worried that it is a bit out of the way? Is there lots of bars and restaurants about or is it on its own in the middle of nowhere?

Yes it is the same hotel. It%26#39;s situated on Mobor beach approximately 20 minutes walk along the beach from Cavelossim village or 5 minutes by car. We stayed there 2 years ago and personally I love the location as it%26#39;s on a fairly quiet stretch of beach with several shacks and a couple of restaurants within a few minutes walk away and many more in Cavelossim itself. I walked along the beach into Cavelossim every day and really enjoyed the walk though there is a bus that stops right outside the hotel and only costs a few pence and also a taxi rank if you want to go into Cavelossim on an evening. It cost about ￡1 in a taxi when we were there but that will have gone up a bit by now.

We got back from Cavelossim last Saturday night. According to the official taxi rates, it%26#39;s 100 rupees between hol inn and cavelossim centre. have a great time. i%26#39;m v envious. had a fab time in cavelossim. any Qs, feel free to ask

Stayed for 2 weeks in jan this year...have just booked for next year...hotel faultless....beach incredible...5 beach shacks just 2mins walk on beach all so good and so cheap...5 good resteraunts outside main gates...lots of good places to eat and drink in town just 5 mins in taxi even a couple of music bars in town we loved it.... raymond

My wife and I have been to the Hol Inn for the last 6 years and it has got better every year. The staff cannot do enough for you. There is plenty of room all over the hotel.
