Beach BBQ Nights - in the north

Can anybody recommend a good beach BBQ night with a mixture of Seafood (prawns, fish) and Meat?

Not sure if they will have any so late in the season - departing Manchester on 11th April for 2 weeks.

Staying in Candolim but willing to get a taxi further up North to Baga for a good one.

If you could also let me know the following:

Do we need to book?

What night it is on?

Do they have fireworks and music?

How much per person?

I have been to Goa 5 times and never managed to do a BBQ. Sooooo excited.

Hi Sabgas, although I%26#39;ve never been, according to their website, Bobbys has a BBQ night. The prices are apparently not current though. See the link below:

Hi There,

Silver sands have a good one on sundays.

it%26#39;s up at the far end of baga hext to st anthony%26#39;s.

there%26#39;s a choice of seafood layed out for you to chose from, also everything on the menu is availible including bbq meat, they aim to please, nothing is too much trouble.

Also there%26#39;s entertainment, the last one we did had tightrope walkers and magic, there%26#39;s a firework display to end.

the prices are good, you dont need to book but just check with them that it%26#39;s going to happen, all you pay for is your food %26amp; drinks, there%26#39;s no charge as such.

enjoy

Hi as already posted Silver Sands isn%26#39;t there anymore, but it%26#39;s place has been taken by Shinning Star who do a fab BBQ on a Monday night, lobster, crab, king %26amp; tiger prawns great cuts of tuna plus we asked in the day if it was possible to have steak at night and they went out and brought some specially for us.

The lads are lovely and it%26#39;s a great buzz.

I%26#39;ll be there on Monday woo hoo

Hi SABGAS

it may be advisable to go down to Baga one afternoon to find out who if any are having a BBQ by all accounts there is not as many people going now and it is a bit late in the season the shacks stop having them when not enough people turn up to them and yes they do have fireworks on, great nights and cheap to, don%26#39;t read into this that they wont be any, but its a sure bet that not all will be doing a barby, i will be there from the 5-26 April cant wait. HAVE FUN
