Returned from Baga yesterday

Hi to you all on T.A.Forum my wife and myself and 2 friends returned yesterday ,we stayed at the CSM hotel in Baga,we found the manager who is English and the staff very very friendly nothing was to much trouble. The food was brill and the room we stayed in very clean. Most days were spent laying on a sun bed at the Big Banana beach shack.Went on a trip to the Waterfalls, which was a great day out quite an experiance as was the road trip to it which was a white knuckle ride.On the Wed.we went to Anjuna beach to the market by beach boat what a scream.Go to Cafe LOODA live music and jam session which old hippies still congregate to.Didnt get bit by mozzies much either only at the spice farm we went to.

On the return to the airport they exspect you to change all your Rupees back to sterling not a very good exchange rate so spend all your rupees at the resort your at, you cant spend rupes at the airport. The temperature was in the high 30s and exchange rate around 72 to the pound.Kingfisher beer 80 for large bottl eand 50 for small. You can have a very good night out with a meal and drinks for about 20 quid for two persons.Go down to the beach at night sit at a table and just listen and watch the waves break on the beach...Heaven...

Thats enough from me any questions dont hesitate to ask.Would i go back most definitely it was brilliant.Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Returned from Baga yesterday

Great report, but just a quick correction - you can spend rupees at the airport, at the cafe in the departure lounge. If you have a few to take out, I don%26#39;t suppose anyone will stop you. I always bring some back.

Returned from Baga yesterday

Hi I always bring a few rupees home, I%26#39;ve enough about 800 to pay the taxi rank tomorrow and a tip for the driver.

Leaving for the airport in about an hour best finish packing.....

Hi Samtheman51

Glad u had a brilliant time.....oh isnt Goa just great ! ! The food , the weather, the atmosphere. No doubt you will be back there again soon.

This year l smuggled in some indian rupees without exchanging them. l thought it would do me good just to have them in a pot on the mantle shelf above the fireplace so when l feel a bit gloomy l will look at them and remember l will be back in Goa soon ! ! ! l have about £50 Cheers Sereta.

p.s. l dont know how u lot manage going in April it sounds so hot %26amp; clammy.......dont think l would fancy that
