Nationwide card.

Just returned home yesterday and checked my bank statements. It was alot better to use a nationwide card we got between 72.50 and 72.79 to the pound on the street is was between 69.50 and 70.50. And there are no charges. We also got a better exchange rate when we used it in bahrain duty free. Glad I took the advice. Thanks

Nationwide card.

and how was your trip to Goa Mamamoose? Were wrapyourheadroundyourlegs airline as bad as you expected? Look forward to reading your report and hearing all about it.

Nationwide card.

You don%26#39;t really want to know. Walk in and out of first hotel the second was well !!!!!!!!!!!!. Will put a report on after I have sorted things out with holiday company and tour operator. But would not recommend these hotels only to my worst ememys.

Hi,

Everyone seems to be %26#39;up in arms%26#39; because Nationwide are going to charge for using a Nationwide Flexi account ATM card card abroad. Why? It%26#39;s only 1%!!!

My bank charges me upto £9 per withdrawal and I will be opening a Nationwide Flexi account when I go back to the UK in June regardless of if they charge 1% or not.

Which is cheaper:-

R20,000/- (£281) + 1% (£2.81) = £283ish or about

OR

R20,000/- (£281) + 2.75% charge for handling(£7.73) + an additional 2% transaction charge (min £1.50 max £4.50) (£4.50 here) = £294.50

It%26#39;s £11.50 (R816/-) more expansive to use my card as opposed to getting a Nationwide Flexi account. That%26#39;s enough to buy all the items for 1 Sunday lunch for all our 20 children and %26#39;no%26#39; they don%26#39;t get small portions.....

Please feel free to correct me if the charge is more than 1%

Regards

Paul
