Can i book an airport taxi to get me at NAGDEvanahalli ?

New Bangalore Airport is situated at Devenhalli and it takes at least two hours to reach new airport from Bangalore city.

However, there are many options available for this commute:

1. Volvo bus service by Bangalore Municipal Transport Corp (BMTC)- BMTC runs a fleet of AC buses on various routes. This is an excellent service, I personally used this service on my recent visit to Bangalore. The charges are Rs. 175 per person.

These buses operate at every 30 minutes. You%26#39;ll have to find out the nearest boarding point, which locals should be able to tell you.

2. Meru Cabs/Other Cab services - You can prebook a radio taxi. Meru is a good service (Phone 44224422). Charges will be Rs. 15 per KM. Since the distance is around 65 KMs. charges will be approx Rs. 1000/-

3. You can book a seat in a Toyota Taxi by Airlift (www.airliftonline.com). It will pick you up from your place and will drop you at the airport, charges are Rs. 300 per person.

I would like to repeat, the travel will take at least two hours and you need to reach airport at least one hour before the departure, hence plan accordingly.

Are you already there? Then why not call MeruCabs at 4422 4422 and check whether they can pick you up? Tell them how much luggage and see whether it will all fit in.

I am assuming that you are perhaps staying at Nagarabhavi and need to get to Devanahalli Airport?

With a lot of luggage, the bus option will be difficult. Also, recently, the bus did not turn up on time and my brother had to hitch a ride to the airport on a friend%26#39;s motorcycle.

If Meru says the luggage is too much, contact a private hire company. The number of a firm I have used a few times is that of Vellara Travels. The numbers are 5535 8767 and 25635416. I receommend you call the owner, whose mobile number is :9880316005. Please note, I have used them only a few times.

perhaps the DE can give you a few more numbers?

The fare structure of Meru is available at www.merucabs.com

Thanks alot for your help! A friend is trying to get a hotel near the airport any suggestions there is a place call the Fantasy golf resort they are charging 550 rps for a 5km ride to the airport they should call merul to pick them up or an airport cab.

I will call Merul

Thanks again!

Meru or Easy Cabs, both are reliable should be able to meet your requirements-unless you are travelling in a group. Just place your excess baggage-whatever doesn%26#39;t fit into the boot-inside the car. You can take the Ring Road, to Hebbal, where it intersects with the Airport Road. It doesn%26#39;t come into the city, and avoid traffic, though at around 11PM the density of traffic will drop sharply. Be sure to book your ride well in advance.
