Candolim for Christmas and New Year!!! Woo hoo!!

Hi,

We have today booked flights going out on December 21st and returning on Jan 5th. We will be staying in Candolim as we went there in November last year and loved it!

I was just wondering what peoples experiences are of being there for Christmas and New Year and what sort of things go on?

Im so excited!!! :-) Only 9n months to go! Ha ha!

Not sure about Christmas (though I%26#39;ll find out for myself also this year!) but we were in Candolim for NYE two years ago and it was fantastic. We spent the night on the beach where all of the shacks had music, food, fireworks etc... and it was amazing!

There was an increase in domestic tourists for NYE so it was BUSY but there was just a lovely atmosphere.

This season we had 3 weeks in Candolim but came home a few days before Christmas. We were gutted to leave knowing that we%26#39;d miss the party so this time we%26#39;ve ended up booking for Christmas and New Year and can%26#39;t wait!

Christmas and new year are great in Goa nothing beats christmas day on the beach. It is busy with domestic tourists, but xmas just gone was very quiet compared to other years, probably to do with the terrorists attacts in Mumbai and Goa was also on high alert. But it was still great. who have you booked your flights with and how much have you got them for (if you dont mind me asking)

My flights are with Kingfisher and cost £435 return through Southall Travel. I booked just over a month ago. We fly out on 10th Dec to get there for the 11th then return on the 3rd Jan.
